Walk in Your Weakness

How many of you have lugged baggage around? It can get heavy, right? A lot of us have been carrying around spiritual baggage and it has been weighing us down. It could be the weight of a relationship, past failure, what a person did to you, or the bad choices you are currently making. God has a different way for us to live that is freeing. So how do we do it?

 

LEAVE THE BAGGAGE BEHIND: 

  1. Walk in Grace: you are only human and God's mercies for you are NEW every morning. His grace is sufficient for YOU. And if he had grace for you while you were still a sinner, he definitely has grace for you now as his child.

     

  2. Walk in the Word: the more you are in his word, the less you worry. Why? Because you are reminding yourself of God's character! The more you learn about God, the more you remind yourself of who YOU really are. Keep declaring God's word over your life.

     

  3. Walk in your Weakness: It sounds counterproductive but God's word says that in your weakness he is your strength. It's not one or the other. It's both! Just as if you were lifting weights at the gym with a spotter, you have the ultimate spotter in life - Jesus.

 

Go into this new week lighter and freer. It's what God has for you!
