ACT 1 MESSAGE NOTES:
LES MISERABLES - "Lessons from Les Mis"
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God” (Ephesians 2:8).
Through Valjean’s story, we see glimpses of the prodigal son, who, after squandering his life, is welcomed back by his father with open arms (Luke 15:20-24).
This is the beauty of the gospel—grace that not only forgives but restores.
“… he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life” (Titus 3:5-7).
1. God grace is greater than the enemy’s guilt.
The Bible declares, “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
2. God’s grace is a life-changing gift.
“So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us…” (Ephesians 1:6-8).
ACT 2 MESSAGE NOTES:
MJ THE MUSICAL - "Meanings from MJ"
“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples” (Psalm 77:14).
“He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles” (Job 5:9).
1. God does not make mistakes, but He does make miracles.
“O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you” (Jeremiah 32:17).
2. Find the overlooked or unnoticed everyday miracles.
“Remember how the LORD your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands” (Deuteronomy 8:2).
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).
ACT 3 MESSAGE NOTES:
JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM- "Jewels from Journey"
“And you, little Bethlehem, are not insignificant among the clans of Judah, for out of you will emerge the Shepherd-King of my people Israel” (Matthew 2:6 – TPT).
“He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child” (Luke 2:5).
“She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them” (Luke 2:7).
1. What we think is small is really a seed.
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin …” (Zechariah 4:10).
“Jesus said, “How can I describe the Kingdom of God? What story should I use to illustrate it? It is like a mustard seed planted in the ground. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of all garden plants; it grows long branches, and birds can make nests in its shade” (Mark 4:30-32).
2. Small things matter to the big story.
“When Jesus’ parents had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of
Nazareth. And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him” (Luke 2:39-40).
